Hi, 

My RTC on my FMT100 is in 2004 and won't connect via a known working sim to sync via NTP & it wont get a GPS lock under 60s to sync via GNSS as described in the "New Time Synchronization method implementation" Here

Actually, some improvements have already been made for “Time synch from NTP/NITZ” with “03.27.07.Rev.00”. – Ref.: FMT100 firmware errata

In any case, please;

  • Update the firmware to the latest version for FMT100, “03.27.13.Rev.03”. – Ref.: FMT100 firmware errata
  • Send the “cpureset” and “sdformat” SMS commands to the device.
  • Make sure there are no obstructions blocking the GNSS and GSM signals. – Ref.: FMT100 First StartMounting recommendations. Note: Are you testing indoors? The exterior of modern buildings (walls, windows, etc.) can block GNSS and GSM signals.
  • Make sure NTP servers “avl1.teltonika.lt” and “pool.ntp.org” are whitelisted by your GSM operator. Check with another SIM card or with another operator’s SIM card. Also, check if another device works with the same SIM card. Note: Here you can also check with the following NTP servers – NTP Server 1: “pool.ntp.org”, NTP Server 2: “time.nist.gov”.
