Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

To calculate an estimated time that the FMB640 can store on his internal memory, first, let's estimate how many records the FMB640 can store:

Typical Record size with IOs activated using CODEC 8E: ≈ 200 Bytes.

  • Internal FMB640 Memory: 2 MB, then it is possible to store approximately 10,486 records.
  • External FMB640 Memory: 2 GB, then it is possible to store approximately 1,342,191 records

If you are setting your Data Acquisition modes to send records every 10 seconds, then the FMB640 can store:

  1. With internal memory (2Mb): Can store records during 1,747 minutes
  2. With External Memory (2Gb): Can store records during 223,698.5 minutes

Note! As I mentioned, this is just an estimation. You can make the calculations based on the CODEC that you are using to have a more realistic estimation.

Kind regards.
