Hello.

Besides DIN1 and Movement, i need to use DIN2 (door sensor) for waking the tracker from sleep, if the door is opened. Can i do this? Thanks

Good day Florins and thank you for your question,

Kindly note that different sleep modes have different triggers as explained here https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB204_Sleep_modes

FMB204 exits GPS sleep mode if ONE of following conditions is true:

  • Movement by accelerometer or configured movement source is detected;
  • Ignition (configured ignition source) is turned on.
FMB204 exits deep sleep mode if ONE of following conditions is true:
  • Movement by accelerometer or configured movement source is detected;
  • Ignition (configured ignition source) is turned on.
FMB204 exits online sleep mode if ONE of following conditions is true:
  • Movement by accelerometer or configured movement source is detected;
  • Ignition (configured ignition source) is turned on.
FMB204 exits ultra deep sleep mode only when DIN1 or movement are detected by accelerometer. Movement source and Ignition source configuration is not taken into account in this case.
Simply put, depending on the sleep mode you choose, DIN 2 is not able to bring the device out of the sleep mode.
Alternatively you can disable the sleep mode and records generated can be sent to the server. Also note that without GNSS fix high priority records will not be sent to the server.
