which device works best for fuel level monitoring on generators and what parameters can we see

Before suggesting you a device, it is important to check if your generator supports CAN data or FMS. This information can be provided by the manufacturer or can be detailed on the generator datasheet. 

If your generator supports the FMS Standard, we can suggest you use our Professional Trackers series. This series can read that standard and the most common parameters related to fuel that you will obtain are Total Fuel, Actual Fuel, RPM, and engine hours. 

In case your generator supports CAN data, we can suggest you use our FMX series with the ALLCAN300 adapter or our FMB140 tracker, which has a built-in CAN Adapter. The most common parameters related to fuel obtained from CAN Data on generators are the Engine Working, Total Fuel Consumption, Total Engine workout, among others.

Important! Availability of parameters that our devices can read depends on vehicle’s model and manufacturer.
