Question

Hello,

  does anyone know where to get a cable for this unit?  I bought a cable from Amazon, with RJ45 on one end and DB9 on the other, but it does not work.  When I test the pins with a multimeter it seems that the 2,3,5 on the DB9 end do not go to the right pins on the RJ45 end, as shown in the knowledge base.

Do we need to make this cable?

EDIT: This cable can be sold with the device package, example product code: FMC640UX3501. We do have the cable for sale separately as well, you can contact your sales manager and ask them about this code PPCB00000090, however you can also disassemble your RJ45 cable end and build it using this structure below.

Wire Connection:

P1 - DB9	Color	P2 - RJ45
4	Black	3
5	Brown	4
3	Red	5
2	Orange	6
8	Yellow	7
7	Green	8
