Hello,

I need to gain remote access to open/close doors on Ford Kuga II (2017). Unfortunately I couldn't find any wiring schema of FMB130 + CAN-CONTROL for my vehicle. I have seen generic wiring schema here (https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB130_CAN_adapters) for CAN-CONTROL which states that I need to connect CAN1 and CAN2 but some workshops on youtube says that only CAN1 line is necessary. Could you please provide more information when I need to connect both lines?

I also found out that mine OBD2 socket has both can lines (https://pinoutguide.com/CarElectronics/ford_obd_2_pinout.shtml) as you see in the pinout CAN1 (High Speed CAN) is on pin 6 and pin 14 and CAN2 (Low speed CAN) is on pin 3 and pin 11. Is that what I need? Will it work by using a simple ODB2 male plug and connecting direct to ODB2 socket?

Regards

Hello Evghenix,

Good day. Thank you for the question.

The older version of Ford Kuga requires only CAN1 but the newer ones require CAN1 and CAN2 which is illustrated in our wiring scheme diagram. Unfortunately, we do not share any documentation on the community forum, therefore, you will need to reach out to us via VIP Helpdesk or contact your Sales Manager/Distributor. If you don't have any contacts with our Sales managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the "Contact Us" button. When you will click, please fill out the form and submit it.

Note: as a topic, please choose "Vehicle Telematics" or you can send an e-mail with the description of your situation to info@teltonika.lt

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.
