Hello

I have a gps fmb 640 module, I want to connect a digital input to the PTO DUMPT TRUCK switch cable, but the output signal that comes out of the pto switch is negative, while the fmb 640 can't input negative, any suggestions? how can i connect positive input to negative output?

Hello.

If your PTO signal states are: not connected or gnd, then you will not receive DIN=1 state.

I would suggest to convert PTO signal to positive, it can be done for example with simple relay.

Hi,

Unfortunately the FMB640 doesn't have any negative inputs but you can convert your negative voltage to positive by using an automotive relay wired as shown below and this can be connected to digital input.

Hope this helps!

Thanks
