Hi
Is it possible to get direction of Eye Beacon (BTSID1) with respect to my smartphone?  Can I show its direction with respect to my current GPS position in google map?

If yes can you please tell me how?

Good day. Thank you for your question.

If you use EYE app, you can see approximate distance(Beacon - smartphone) if beacon and smartphone is in the range of Bluetooth. It is possible to determine movement, distance, but not direction, since BTSID1 does not have GNSS.

Well, it is possible to implement triangulation method, but to do so, research, development and testing are needed.

Thanks, one more question, does these beacons emit Angle of Arrival (AoA) and Angle of Departure (AoD). I read these can be used to calculate directions as well.

Unfortunately, it does not emit neither AoA nor AoD, although, thank you for your questions. This could be one of options of improvement of such sensors.
