Hello,

last year I was informed that there will be a IP67 casing for the FMC130.

When will it be available, will it be possible to purchase the FMC130 circuit board either "naked" or already assembled in that casing?

Also, what connector will be used on the casing   On the picture it looked a bit like a TE AMP SuperSeal connector.   (This would be the absolute best case scenario for my use case).

With best regards,

Andreas Niemann

andiolsi... did you get an answer? I'd also be interested in an IP67 case.

Yes, I have been buying the FMM230, which essentially is a FMM130 board inside that casing.

The casing is also sold separately so one can retrofit existing FMM130, if I understood correctly,

Same holds true for all FMx2 devices.

The connector is something proprietary. Cable used to come in 94cm length but I after pleading Teltonika decided to make 300cm cables as well. Those are just not listed on the product website yet.

Thanks for the information!

The wiki entries for the FMx230 don't have sections for "Getting Started with AWS IoT Core", but FMx130 do. If FMx230 is the same guts as FMx130, presumably FMx230 are also "AWS IoT Ready" and I can just follow the FMx130 guidelines.

Your comment on the connector is also helpful. I have a very simple implementation planned and only need the power and ground wires. It would be nice to have a cable with just those wires and the other pins covered.

Yeah thats something i consider relatively new, but it shows up on the Teltonika Configurator for the firmware i am using (03.28) and should be supported in the latest 03.27 firmware as well.

Here are some links:

Not sure when it was introduced. Unfortunately its either MS or AWS stuff, vanilla MQTT to your own server is not supported ... yet, i sowed the seed, maybe it shall grow in time.

But if you are contempt with AWS IoT you should be fine.

If you are planning on doing something more complex that has you wanting for something more tailored, feel free to contact me, I have designed the platform for my product (https://olsitrack.net) to be easily redeployable on any kubernetes cluster.   You can find my contact info on that website.
