How do we install and configure the FMC640 to J1939 CAN Hi/Lo? The vehicle do not have FMS connector. Only 9-pin J139 connector.

WIll the CAN data come in the AVL (Teltonika Data Sending Parameters ID)?

We are working with a Volvo L90H from 2017.

The VIN number is: *VCE0L90HJ00014324*.

We are going to work with mainly construction vehicles like wheel loaders, side loaders, front loaders, tractors and straddle carriers. As we understand, these kind of vehicles often support J1939 protocol. We are also testing the ALLCAN-300 but then we are in need of program numbers witch often dont exists in supported vehicle list and have to be added by your engineers.

Unfortunately FMC640 will not support data from this vehicle, you can fill a query in the VipHelpdesk, maybe we can offer a solution with the ALL-CAN adapter, but we need to check with our integrators for the program number

Could you explain what kind of vehicles the FMC640 supports? Note that we are talking about connecting CAN-wires directly to the FMC640 with no ALLCAN300. Is there any list of requirements or a list of vehicles? Is a FMS-connector required or is it not possible to connect directly to vehicles that support J1939 protocol?

FMC640 can read CAN data from Volvo and Renault via J1708 and via FMS from DAF, Iveco, Renault, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes and Scania
