We have some FMC130 and FMB920

I would like to have motion detection if unauthorized persons attack my vehicle. The sensitivity of the alarm should be adjustable and should only be activated when the car is parking.

But you should keep in mind that people are sometimes in the car when it is parking, taking a break while traveling, etc ... so you should be able to switch on the motion detect manually...?

what do we need for this to work?

Thank you!

Hello Kuser,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

Please elaborate more on your use case scenario. Additionally, regarding the alarm, does it need to trigger in the vehicle, or is only a notification sent to the server-side to alert? Also, please check if this motion sensor will be suitable for your use case  https://elainnovation.com/en/catalogue/blue-coin-mov/

Kind regards.

Hello Vivek,

Thank you for your answer.

An alarm via SMS or GPRS to the server is sufficient. We ordered Blue Cion MOV, but how can we activate and deactivate the alarm? It is unfavorable about the ignition because it means that you have to leave the vehicle directly. It often happens that you have a break from driving in the car (motorway rest area, telephoning, etc.).

Hello Kuser,

Good day. Thank you for your reply.

The MOV sensor detects motion and can send either 0 or 1 to the server regarding its state and you can configure this IO value as a high priority event.

It will be placed in the BLE # Custom IO slot depending on which sensor is configured. Operand should be on the entrance with intervals 1-1. Here, you can detect the movement and generate an alarm on the server-side or SMS can be sent to a phone. Regarding turning it on and off, you can disable that IO element when it is not needed via SMS command or GPRS command. If there would be an authorization with iButton or beacon in place, the server could just ignore movement detected on the sensor if the authorized driver is driving

Hope this clears your doubts.

Kind regards.
