I have FMB120 device equipped with Can-control, connected with OBD2 inside an electric vehicle. I'm reading information about battery without problem, but I can't find where is stored information about charging cable connected.

I see on cancontrol compatibility list that on my vehicle the function is available.

Can you help me?

Regards

Matteo

Hello Matteo,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

These parameters (Charging Cable connected & Battery Charging) will appear under Security State Flags.

For example:

Let's say you are getting the following values under Security State Flags = 800000000C0F

80 - byte6

00 - byte5

00 - byte4

00 - byte3

0C - byte2 (HEX 04 + 08 = 0C, where 04 is Battery Charging and 08 is Charging Cable connected)

0F - byte0

Please refer here to the description of the other values - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB120_CAN_adapters#CAN_Adapter_State_Flags

Hope this helps.

Kind regards.

Using Teltonika Configurator I setup CanControl to send "Security State Flags" value to the server: I receive an additional parameter called "<driver2>" (?!?) that bring a not ASCII value inside.

I tried also to setup "Security State Flags P4" (I don't know the difference) and in this case nothing happens.

Can you help me?
