Hello, I'm wondering how the cfg-files for the Configurator are compressed, because I'd like to adjust the values manually within the file. But then it's not possible anymore to upload the file to the device, is there any solution?

Thanks in advance

Hello there,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

If you would like to make any changes to the CFG file, you may open it with the Configurator and make changes before saving it. Also, take note of the Configurator version used as different Configurators may have parameters added so there may be some missing values if you use an older version of Configurator to open a CFG file that was saved in a new Configurator.

The steps are as follows:

1) Open Configurator

2) Create new Configuration

3) Select your device model

4) Select your Configuration based on your firmware (if no specific CFG was used then select the latest version i.e. the first CFG at the top of the window)

5) Load from file (select your current CFG file that needs editting)

6) Make changes in the CFG file as desired

7) Save to file (new CFG file saved)

Please try this and let me know if it helps.

Kind regards.
