I would like to use immobilizer (Authorized drivingscenario) and SECO (Secure Engine Cut Off) features simultaneously with a FMB tag or any other tag with Bluetooth.

Must the tag have 2 DOUT?

Is there a tag that can be used for both moto/scooter and cars? If not what is  the recommended tag for motos/scooters and the one for cars?

Hello there,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

If you would like to use both the features (Immobilizer & SECO) then you will require 2 DOUT's (1 for each). So for cars, I will suggest using FMB120. For motors, you may use FMB120 but bear in mind that FMB120 is only IP41 (https://teltonika-gps.com/product/fmb120/#features). Therefore, you will need to secure the device and ensure there is no water & dust seeping into the device.

Also, take note that to use the SECO function, you will require a specific firmware version that is not in the base firmware. To obtain the firmware, you may either contact your Sales Manager or Distributor from whom you purchased the device. If you don't have any contacts with our sales managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the "Contact Us" button. When you click, please fill the form and submit it.

Note: as a topic, please choose "Vehicle telematics" or you can send an e-mail with the description of your situation to info@teltonika.lt

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

Can we use FMB202 or FMB204 as they are IP67 compliant instead of the recommended FMB120 to implement both SECO and Immobilization features ?
