Hello,

I just read this doc:

https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB640_CAN_%5C_Tachograph#WEB_Tacho_Settings

This part "Domain – server domain where files will be send" caught my attention.

Question:

Is this device designed for remote download on a proprietary server?

That is: respecting the ATR protocol and Annex 1B specifications (I'm a software developer), can this device perform remote authentication with one of our servers? In other words, does this device respect the common protocol of ATR / APDU / FMS-Standard for remote authentication / download?

Or it is merely relegated to a proprietary service (Web Tacho) and is therefore a SaaS / HaaS mechanism.

Thanks for the reply

Hello there,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

If you would like to download it from your server rather than the Teltonika Web Tacho, then we can provide you the protocols so you can integrate it with your server. Also, yes this device respects the common protocol of ATR / APDU / FMS-Standard for remote authentication/download. If you would like to receive the protocols then you can either raise a query on VIP Helpdesk or contact your Sales Manager/Distributor from whom you purchased this device. If you don't have any contacts with our Sales managers, please contact them on our official website https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the "Contact Us" button. When you will click, please fill the form and submit it.

Note: as a topic, please choose "Vehicle telematics" or you can send an e-mail with the description of your situation to info@teltonika.lt

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards.
