Hi,I'm trying to read the state from the TFT using micropython on a Raspberry Pi Pico , and not having any success. Firstly I cant find any documentation that specifically says I am able to read the state this way, but I assumed as UART is available there must be a reason for it? I can find many articles explaining how to encode and decode packets over the the GPRS channel but nothing I seem to be getting on the UART serial connection seem to match any packet definition I am finding. I can't imagine I am the only one to ever do this, so I must be fundementally doing something wrong, I am very new to embedded systems  and python in general , despite having many years under the belt in other software. Thank you if someone can point me towards some useful resources.
