Dear sirs

Is it necessary that the tracking devices have a gyroscope to be able to use the crash detection function?

I would like to use the model FMB001 or FMU130 for this application, but in its specifications does not appear the gyroscope.

What is the maximum speed that can be configured in the teltonika device to sample the parameters (acceleration, speed, etc) of the vehicle before and after a crash?

Also, if the tracker is connected to the vehicle's can bus, can it also record the information provided by the ECU in real time before and after the crash?

Best regards

Hello,

Teltonika devices use accelerometer for movement and crash detection (FMT100 uses accelerometer and gyroscope).

To use crash detection feature with your FMB001 or FMU130 accelerometer must be calibrated first.

Please visit Wiki page for detailed information:

Can I use any hands-free bluetooth accessory to make voice calls with the FMB130?
