Hi,

I'm trying to get communication from a microcontroller to the FMB640. I have the FMB640 set to TCP Ascii and it's pointing correctly to flespi (I can confirm this by the fact that positional data is being sent to flespi) but I don't get any data sent from the microcontroller. I have not been able to get PC to FMB640 communications either when using a USB to RS232 converter.

The microcontroller is using a TTL to RS232 converter based on a MAX202 chip. The data I'm sending is converted over to Codec 12 format and I know it's correct as I'm sending the message specified here: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FM6_Testing_RS-232_and_RS-485_TCP_Link_Mode

can you tell me how to send data directly from gps fmb640 to raspberry pi and the data from gps fmb640 can be displayed in the monitor had connected in raspberry pi so the data not just send to server but send in raspberry pi too,

Good day. Thank you for your question.

TCP Binary - waits for 30 ms and counts this as the end of the packet and transfers it to the server if the link is open.

TCP ASCII - End line return feed have to be at the end of the received packet otherwise the device will never forward this data to the server because it will not know when the packet has ended

Hi Vivek,

I was fairly sure I was already adding a \r\n to the end of my messages but I went back and tried TCP Binary over Terminal as well to confirm. I'm not getting any confirmation from the FMB640 and I'm also not getting any data coming up over Flespi still.
