What are the settings to use an Inateck BCST-70 Bluetooth barcode scanner with FMC125/130? Settings for scanner and FMC configuration?

Does the scanner use SPP or HID mode? Do you have to pair the FMC with the scanner via configurator? Is it needed to add External MAC, Name and PIN?

Will any other make or model of barcode scanner connect to FMC125/130?

Thanks

Hello,

FMC 125/130 automatically connects to Inateck BT Barcode Scanner BCST-70, You have to enter MAC, Name and PIN.

Scanner use SPP.

You have to set correct data in configurator bluetooth section, upload it to device and it will automatically pair with the scanner

Other scanners aren't supported.

Hello,

The BCST-70 Inateck scanner must be configured to operate with the Teltonika devices on SPP Bluetooth mode and "Enter" like suffix.

To set these settings please see the device manual on the following pages:

https://www.inateck.com/results?q=BCST-70

- SPP Bluetooth mode settings, page 31.

- Suffix settings page 77.

After that, by the Teltonika configurator please enable the FMC130/125 Bluetooth device and enable the option Inateck Scanner.

Then, set the name "BCST-70" in the parameter External Name, and save the settings.

For more information please see the next link.

Thanks Tomas and Luis.

The BCST-70 on order has been delayed. While waiting I'm trying to use a Bluetooth terminal app on an Android phone to simulate a BCST-70. It connects and pairs OK with a FMC125 but no data is being sent.

What data does the FMC125 expect to receive from a BCST-70? I know it can be upto 32 bytes long but what characters are needed by the FMC125 to send? What is the "Enter" like suffix in ASCII or HEX character(s)? Inateck manual does not have this detail information. The "Enter" like suffix scans as a code 128 barcode /*Affix095*/ but what does it translate to in ASCII or Hex?

Would be very helpful to get more information or a sample of what the BCST-70 output to FMC125 is?

Best regards

Bill
