Question

FM5300 device battery. Manual says 550mAh 8,4V NiMH. The battery is weak, I need to replace it. I can not match the voltage, size and mAh on the market. Is there anything wrong or can you provide with spare or code for purchase? Regards (from Italy)

For a battery replacement, I suggest that you contact your regional Sales Manager or your direct distributor from whom you purchased the FM5300.

The battery specification is part number 7H550 3/5F6S, Ni-Mh battery pack 8.4V 550mAh,45x37x17mm

Also, please take note that this device is EOL (End-of-policy), therefore, getting the spare parts and batteries might be hard. Please refer here for all our EOL products - https://teltonika-gps.com/policies-certificates/eol-policy/

However, currently we have projects that can replace the FM5300 such as FMB640, FMC640 and FMM640.

OK. What about FM6300 which is currently on production? This unit has the same battery pack.

For the FM6300, the battery specification is Ni-MH Rechargeable battery, 8.4V, 550 mA (https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FM6300_General_description#Package_contents). You may use this battery to replace the ones in FM5300.
