Hi,

I'm trying to transfer data through RS485 TCP Binary mode to server and i'm able to see only last 931bytes of my message, is it limited to 931 bytes? I'm using teltonika fmb125, FW 03.25.15 Rev:32

I tried TCP Ascii mode too and im getting last 786 bytes of my message.

Thanks in advance,

Filip

Hello.

Please see Our communication protocols.

https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Teltonika_Data_Sending_Protocols

There are limits regarding how big the packet can be. So if limit is exceeded, record can be split and sent in a separate packet. Are You sure You are not receiving this data in multiple records?

Best Regards

Hi, thank you for answering my question.

I'm receiving avl data in codec 8 and after reading all data, I send command message via codec 12 to my device on rs485 which responds with 1934 bytes message which than teltonika sends back to server via codec 12 also but it only contains last 931 bytes, I'm sure that I receive this first since i did not read anything before that. I also used terminal to check and make sure that my device sends all 1934 bytes to teltonika.

In codec 12 i see "Command/Response Quantity 1 - it is ignored when parsing the message."

And I've checked its always 0x01.

Command/Response – command or response in HEX. Its marked as X bytes, how big can X be?

Thank you again.

Regards,

Filip
