how can i calibrate fmb920 for analog fuel sensor wire?i have attached the connection but all i get is 173 regardless of diff fuel levels

Hello,

Analogue fuel level sensor positive wire schould be connected to analog input AIN1 of FMB920. Voltage (in mV) on that input will be send as AVL ID 9 (Analog input 1).

Why is my mv stuck at 173 but i have not emptied my tank .It had like 8 litres then i added 10 litres but it just jumped to 853 then back and stuck at 173

Please measure voltage on Analogue input 1 with voltometer and compare it with device's reading

Any update on this matter? I'm exactly in the same situation with an FMC130 with firmware 3.27.13 Rev54.  I have tried both AIN1 & AIN2 with IO set to Low priority, I have checked with a multimeter and confirmed I am receiving the correct mV values from the fuel sensor but the tracker is stuck reading 173.

Any Ideas?

Update on this matter....I found out that the tracker´s harness sometimes have an issue, pins for certain cables are pushed back rather that properly connecting (making contact). I disconnected and reconnected the harness to the cable and wiggled the connector a few times and finally got the correct reading from the fuel sensor.

Hopefully Teltonika can use this info to improve the harness manufacturing process.
