Hi,

FMB 120 unit sends bad values for latitude in couple of seconds.

For example in one moment it sends value of latitude 46.9975583 and after 20 seconds we get 44.9975564. This happens periodically for couple of our units. What can be cause of this? Please check table below

Hello.

Well satellites are not stationary, they move, so it is pretty normal, that even when GPS device is stationary, that longitude and latitude are not constant, because as you see number of visible satellites also changes which can influence this behaviour. Some deviation in coordinates is normal for GPS devices

yes I agree, but this is big difference in value, if you assume that value for longitude you get same as previous one, and value for latitude is changed from 46 to 44

Could you please let me know the firmware version? Does this issue always occur in the same manner (2 degree decrease in value for latitude)?

Hi,

yes usually it happens like this from 46 to 44. This is problem for us because of this error our devices shows up 200-300 km from real location. It is 03.18. firmware.

Do you perhaps have some sort of raw data log received in server when this issue happens and doesn't happen? I would take a look.
