Question

We are trying to read can bus data from International ProStar truck 2018 with FMU130 and Allcan 300.  Our local teltonika sales manager provided a wiring diagram to old International Truck that shows connections to J1708 terminals. We were expecting instructions to connect to J1939 terminals. Anyway we tried both options, conecting to J1708 then to J1939. We did not get any reading. FMU130 has demonstrated to have an excelent performance reporting gps positions, driver behavior, etc. Its a shame not been able to read can bus data from these trucks that are very popular in Mexico.  We would like to know if Teltonika can read data from those trucks. In the same way there is other can bus reader manufacturer that offer a module that read the can bus in those trucks, but that equipment has an rs232 port to transmit the information.Is it possible to connect to FMU130 ?

FMU130 does not have RS232 port.
