I was told that some trucks I am going to work with send their data through the K-line.

The FMB640 has an input exclusively for the K-line, but when I open the configurator I don't see where that data may be represented. I would like to know where is that data visible and how it sends it to the server.

Thanks in advance.

Hello.

There is "K Line priority" setting in Tachograph Data tab, there you can set it to "Priority 1" to read tachograph data via K-line.

What kind of data do you wish to receive from the truck? Because k-line is not meant for getting FMS data from the truck.

Our device sends everything via Codec 8 protocol.

You can read about it here: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Teltonika_Data_Sending_Protocols

Each data element that you enable has corresponding AVL ID which if enabled can be found in a packet along with its value that is sent to the server.

Here is list of available AVL ID's: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB640_Teltonika_Data_Sending_Parameters_ID

If you have any question about our protocols or do not understand something about it, please ask, so that I could explain it to you in more detail.

Best Regards.

You need to go to TACHOGRAPH DATA section in the configurator software to see live tacho values via K-LINE o FMS.

Hello,

We have a same weird problem.
FMB640 is connected to K-line but do not see tacho data on one truck (other similar trucks with identical hardware are ok).

In configurator Tachograph Data section shows only some data - timestamp, VRN, VIN etc which could be received I think via CAN.

I have double checked the wiring connection and it seems everything is ok here.

Is it possible to see logs regarding K-line data readings somehow?

Thank you.
