Hello,

I would ask, for development purposes, if the document FMXXXX_Protocols_v2.10.pdf is valid for the FMB120 AVL to know if the FMA110 and FMB120 use the same communication protocol.

Thanks in advance

FMB devices family have 2 protocols:

codec 8 (same as in FMA case)

codec 8 extended (this is different from FMA)

and regarding AVL ID's some are the same as in FMA project, but many are different. So it'd be best i'f you would reference:

https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/FMB_AVL_ID

This link for FMB family.

Codec 8 extended is documented: https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/Codec_8_Extended

Hello Oceanfly,

Thank you for your answer.

I would also ask the same question, but for the FM3001.

What protocol does it use?

Thank you in advance

FM3 family devices are a "subfamily" of FMB. So same protocols: codec 8 and codec 8 extended.
