Hello, I have an issue. I bought a can bus simulator, specifically of J1939 protocol. I tried it with a FMB640 and the device can read the simulated data perfectly. Now I want to read the same data with a FMB120 using an All Can. The problem is that when I connect the all can to the simulator, the led doesnt start blinking, and I dont know how to get a program number that works. Should I be able to read the simulated data with the All can? Is it possible the All-Can doesnt recongnize the simulator?

Hello , I changed the connection and I made advance. I connected the Tx and Rx cables directly to the pin 6 and 5 of the FMB120 and it seems from the configurator that it is recognizing the All-Can. The issue now its that I only have highlighted in green the Program number : 123 , the Module ID and the security state flags 0x180...0A. It seems the all-can isnt reading the simulated data. Any idea might be the problem?

Please enter any program number from this list: https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/wikibase/images/5/5e/ALL-CAN300_list_2020_03_03Teltonika.pdf

Like: 11118

And check which parameters do you get according to the ALLCAN300 list which is provided.

If it does not work, please make sure that you connected it correctly

The connection is correct. I think that the issue is that the All-Can300 needs an update. For example I can only change its Program Number through the configurator if I input a three digit number, if I choose a 4 or 5 digit number, the program number of the adapter stays unchanged. How can I update the adapter?

What is your device Firmware version and IMEI? The update can be done by using FOTA WEB. If you do not have FOTA WEB account, please contact your sales manager.
