"Fsmstate: protect" indicates a 12V battery charge of the car with too high current (at the beginning of the charge)? The 12V went down to 8600mV then I read the tracker disconnected and then "protect". Now "Fsmstate: active" is back with 12V battery in more normal charging (I think). I have had the car in the workshop for work for several days.

Hello,

Sharing battery protection check algorithm: (Not able to show you there).

In your case protection were activated and it depends on current/External voltage

Hi,

I am experiencing the following and am unable to get the battery to charge FSMState: PROTECT and ChargerIC: OFF. If I recall correctly it is set to Always charge via the Teltonika Configurator. If I disconnect the power supply device goes off.

BatState: 1 FSMState: PROTECT ChargerIC: OFF ExtV: 13459 BatV: 3913 BatI: 0

I don’t have physical access to device and could only connect to it via Bluetooth or use sms commands.

How could I fix the issue?

I got that (protect) warning when the car was in a garage for repairs. The car stood still for many days and the battery was too drained. Perhaps the mechanic has recharged the battery with "too much" current or too high a voltage. I no longer had that message (protect), using the car normally. In your case it could be caused by incorrect charging.
