Dear Teltonika Support Team,

We have an urgent problem with FMG920 trackers.

We accidentally terminated sims in a few of these devices. The operator activated them again, but the trackers seem to not wanting to or not being able to connect.

SMS works.

We received these status SMS-es:

RTC:2020/4/10 18:50 Init:2020/4/10 17:41 UpTime:4112s PWR:SoftReset RST:0 GPS:3 SAT:0 TTFF:10 TTLF:10 NOGPS:0:0 SR:0 FG:0 FL:0 SMS:6 REC:760 MD:4 DB:0

Data Link: 0 GPRS: 0 Phone: 0 SIM: 0 OP: 21601 Signal: 4 NewSMS: 1 Roaming: 1 SMSFull: 0 LAC: 3612 Cell ID: 16032 NetType: 1 FwUpd:-65536

 Flush does not work either, the tracker acknowledges the receipt of the flush sms, but the connection is not happening.
FLUSH Accepted. 760 records found on FLASH. Minimum Records to Send: 1. GPRS Enabled: 1. Time Sync: 1.

This happens to all trackers that are affected with the sim terminate / re-activate problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good day. Thank you for your question.

May I know what is the firmware used in the devices? I will suggest updating them to the latest version - https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB920_firmware_errata. If you require the latest firmware then you will need to raise a ticket via VIP Helpdesk. Please try sending the SMS/GPRS command "getrecord" and check on the reply to this. If this doesn't help then you will need to format the SD card by sending SMS/GPRS command "sdformat".

Ideally, I would suggest that you raise a ticket via VIP Helpdesk so we can analyze this in detail if you are still having issues receiving any data on your server. If you do not have an account on VIP Helpdesk then kindly contact your Distributor or Sales Manager at https://teltonika-gps.com/ and click on the "Contact Us" button. Kindly submit the form and select the topic as Vehicle Telematics. Alternatively, you can send an e-mail with the description of your situation to info@teltonika.lt
