I'm  using 1nce sims and teltonika device on vehicles

We are just setting the teltonika devices with the 1nce sims

and we encounter some difficulties with SMS because 1nce sims don't work like normal sims

The SMS are sent and retrieved via a REST API

the receiver is not a classic phone number but a fake random number like 12345678 or 45678 etc.. 1nce system relies on iccids to retrieve the SMS operated by its operators.

So I need to set the reply number for the SMS to a fake number in order for the devices to be able to answer

the SMS should not reply to the incoming SMS number.

<login> <password> setparam 3001:12345678

but the device won't answer

this strategy works fine on classical Atracks devices

Hi,

This feature is not available in the device.

For sms events you can configure this number under GSM Predefined numbers.

Parameter ID 3001 for sms data sending, This is entirely different feature. The device will send the complete record as binary to the configured number.
