Hello,

I have FMB130.

I use ibutton to identify the driver and for the immobilizer.

I turned on remember ibutton on trip.

Everything works fine when (ID ibutton is sent):

- I will switch on the ignition

- I will touch ibutton

- I'll start the car

But it doesn't work when (car starts, but doesn't send ID ibutton):

- I will touch ibutton

- I turn on the ignition

- I'll start the car

This is logical because the trip does not start so he does not remember ID ibutton's

Question:

Can i do ibutton authorization ONLY when the ignition is on?

Thanks

Lukasha

Case 1: ibutton authorization is done after ignition ON

When the ignition is OFF, DOUT is 0.

When you turn ON ignition, DOUT becomes 1.

After ibutton authorization DOUT becomes 0 and the car starts.

Case 2: ibutton authorization is done before ignition ON

When the ignition is OFF, DOUT is 0.

As you do ibutton authorization it remains 0.

After ignition turn ON, DOUT is 1.

And the car will not start as long as DOUT is 1.

So, ibutton authorization works ONLY when the ignition is on.

Thanks for your reply.

But the case 2 is diffrent:

When the ignition is OFF, DOUT is 0.

As you do ibutton authorization it remains 0.

After ignition turn ON, DOUT is 0.

And the car will start

That's why the trip does not start and id ibutton is not remembered.
