Hello, Matt,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, it is possible to send the current of the battery to the server. All you have to do is enable the "Battery Current" I/O element in the configurator.

Here is how you can do that:

  1. Connect the device to the computer and connect to it using the configurator.
  2. Go to the IO section of the configurator.
  3. In the list of IO elements, find "Battery Current" and set the priority to Low.
  4. Save the configuration to the device.

You can also enable the "Battery Current" IO element using SMS commands by sending the following command:

<SMSlogin><space><SMSpassword><space>setparam 50130:1

If you don't have the SMS login and password set, then the command should look like this:

<space><space>setparam 50130:1

You can find more information on the FMB920 in the Teltonika Wiki page here:

Battery current IO does not measure/deliver information on device's power consumption.

This IO element measures battery charging current during battery charging only.

"can It send how many milli amps its using to the server?"
Answer is - no, there is no IO where such information would be calculated. We dont have implemented measures to calculate/measure device's power consumption.
