Hi,

I have 18 FMB920 mounted on board ships, and some of then when the ship is stopped generate a lot of false movement positions, as you can see in the picture below, the tracker sends positions even in land areas.

Any suggestion for reducing the amount of false positions?

Best regards.

Hello Álex,

Thank you for your query.

Could you please say if Static Navigation is enabled? If it is disabled, please turn it on.

Why you need to use mentioned feature:

Static Navigation mode is a filter, which filters out track jumps when the object is stationary. If static navigation filter is disabled, it will apply no changes to GPS data. If static navigation filter is enabled, it will filter changes in GPS position if no movement (as defined by configured movement source) or ignition (as defined by configured ignition source) is detected. It allows filtering GPS jumps when the object is parked (not moving) and GPS position is still traced.

Please feel free to ask us if you will have more questions.

Best regards,

Static Navigation is disabled, going to enable it to test the performance and will come back here to report after two days or so.

Thank you for your help.
