Is there any example protocol for the CAN-BUS parameter ids used?
We are to make a new can protocol for a small electric vehicle, and it would be helpfull to design it close to an exsisting and supported protocol.

Hello and thank you for the question,

It would be hard to provide information regarding CAN bus in the forum better than it is already presented in wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAN_bus#CAN-based_higher-layer_protocols

I would suggest looking into: SAE J1708, SAE J1939, SAE J2284 protcols. Depending on your application you might want to look into EnergyBus as well.
