11139: FM3001 Sending [0xFF], no Location Data, Miles Driven, etc

So I have a tracker in Anchorage, Alaska configured with the settings from one of the many FM3001 we have working perfectly fine but with their own APN (they are using their own SIM card).

On the server-side, it worked the first day it arrived in Alaska. Just a few days after, it was cutting through location and corners and would frequently spam the Hexcode [0xFF] to the server. I have contacted their support and said it was the device not working properly.

Hello,

Thank you for your query.

[0xFF] is being sent because Network Ping out time is set for 2 sec in your configuration. It enables network ping after timeout to prevent link close by operator. In this case if you will change it to 0, [0xFF]  will not be sent. If device is cutting corners that means there is lack of GPS signal. Since it is connected to OBD port it may have some deficiencies.
